The Vendor Onboarding Process looks to extend the fine work conducted by the Software Approvals Process by ensuring we can support the software effectively. We have called this the vendor onboarding process because license management procedures, particularly those relating to the management of software contracts and license compliance, are focused on managing vendors rather than individual pieces of software, however this process can be applied to individual pieces of software as well.
